History
The Fulwood Shooting Club was founded in 1986 by a small
group of shooters in Liverpool. Originally shooting at the
Fulwood barracks in Aigburth, Liverpool, which is where the
club adopted its name. It soon became apparent that our own
premises was the way forward. After hiring a range in the
city center for some time our present location was eventually
found.
Originally this was just a shell, with no mains supplies
and very few floors. The hard work of many shooters over the
years have brought the club to where it is now. We now have
the longest indoor range in Merseyside, possibly the North
West. We can cater for all types of shooting including long
barrelled pistols upto .44 calibre. We also offer facilities
for lever action carbines, small bore rifles, black powder
revolvers as well as clay shooting and rifle shooting at the
Altcar MOD ranges.
