In all probabability Fulwood Shooting Club boasts
the longest indoor range on Merseyside.
We have 8 firing points, all with target retrieval.
Three of these points are 50m long and
back onto sand so are cleared for all rim-fire, centre-fire
carbine and black powder disciplines. The 50m targets also
have electric target retrieval. This range is ideal for lever
action rifle shooting and the 1500 pistol competion, which
requires 50m.
The remaining 5 points are 25m and back onto
steel. All the 25m points have individual target retrevial.
Full bore centrefire rifle disciplines are catered
for at Altcar.
As well as having longest indoor range
members also have use of the Altcar rifle ranges, Nr Formby,
Merseyside. Here members have the chance to test themselves
at distances from 100m to 300m twice a month. The current

confirmed by Altcar Rifle Ranges. Please note that the MOD
can change the range at very short notice and therefore
we cannot guarantee that we will be a on set range at a
set distance. It is advisable to contact
the club on the Friday to confirm any dates before committing
to a long journey.
